Tricia Baker started Baker Creative / Consulting in 2020 following 15 years at Johnson Controls, Inc. (JCI) where she held several leadership roles across business management and marketing. During her tenure at JCI, she led global teams for Brand Management, Customer Engagement, Digital Solutions and Market Research. She served as the Senior Marketing Business Leader for an important start-up business focused on IoT software solutions and building technology, generating over $50M in pipeline in the first year. She led Business Strategy, Market Intelligence and Business Development for a $1 billion division that sells energy efficiency retrofits to public sector clients, mainly municipalities, K-12 schools, higher education institutions and public housing authorities. She consistently earns accolades for the key initiatives she drives, including a Chairman’s Award for driving the major brand rationalization project following the merger of Johnson Controls with Tyco Fire & Security in 2017.

Tricia has an MBA from Marquette University and a BBA from the University of Wisconsin – Madison School of Business. She has certificates in Brand and Reputation from Dartmouth’s Tuck School and Big Data and Analytics Solutions from Northwestern University. She has a black belt in karate. She is the Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Benedict Center, a Milwaukee-based non-profit, and she is on the Board of Directors of C|O, a Hartland-based ad agency. She volunteers as a content writer for the Ice Age National Scenic Trail and spends her spare time enjoying the outdoors.
